The Flashcourse package is designed for the creative individual newly introduced to the world of artistic photography. Lesson 1 is a 1.5-hour segment in which Jolee Photography dives into the manual controls of the digital camera and DSLR. Students first learn about each function on its own, and later how it works together with the camera’s other capabilities.
Lesson 2 takes place after 2-3 months of camera practice. Jolee Photography takes the student on a 2-hour model shoot and provides hands-on teaching about elements like lighting, composition, interacting with the subject, and finding spots to set up great shots. Lesson 3, a final 1.5-hour introduction to Lightroom and Photoshop, follows the model shoot using the images taken throughout the two hours.
The Cam-Guru package aims to take capable hobbyists and professionals to the next level. To perfect their craft, students share their photography portfolio with Jolee Photography in Lesson 1, as she spends 1.5 hours reviewing and critiquing every aspect of their photography. She dives deep into the meaning behind every shot, and helps students understand the language that lies within every image.
Lesson 2 follows in the form of a 2-hour model shoot with particular focus on the areas that need strengthening. That is followed by Lesson 3, which includes a more advanced, 1.5-hour segment on Lightroom and Photoshop. This is purposefully based on the images taken during the shoot, as it allows students to see their immediate progress.
